Identification

To correctly identify isopods, you need to know the basic anatomy. If not, a lot of terms will not make sense.

Body parts used for identification:

male genitalia	its shape is used to differ between species that otherwise look quite similar	You will probably need a lense or microscope, as the papilla is small
